Job Summary
Accounting Lead role in Troon’s Scottsdale corporate office overseeing accounting deliverables for a portfolio of golf clubs/corporate lines. Leads a small accounting team, ensures GAAP-compliant reporting, reviews statements and reconciliations, collaborates with operations, supports audits, budgeting, forecasting, and presents financial results to stakeholders; travels for onboarding and alignment where needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a lead, supervisory, or senior accountant capacity
- Demonstrated experience reviewing complex reconciliations, financial statements, and close deliverables
- CPA certification or progress toward certification (preferred)
- Experience in multi-entity accounting, shared services, or hospitality/golf industry environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with contract‐driven revenue recognition (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statement impacts
- Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance partners
- Balance hands-on review with team leadership duties
