Accounting Lead, Receivables and Financial Reporting

Job Summary
Manage the Month End Closing process, including the preparation and review of monthly financial statements and the reconciliation of accounts receivable subledgers in compliance with IFRS. Oversee the Accounts Receivable function from order release to reporting, implementing policies for past due invoices, credit matching, and erroneous credit memos to ensure strong inbound cash flow. Guide the direct reports on annual goals, lead internal and external audit processes, and prepare Canadian sales tax filings and annual corporate year-end tax returns. Based at Galderma Downtown Toronto with at least three days on site, this role supports the company's ambition to become the leading dermatology company globally.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- at least 1-2 years of people management
- A recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, or equivalent) or working towards
- Proven experience with financial systems, particularly experience with an ERP system
- Advanced level skills using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- at least three days required on site
