Job Summary
Deliver live, scheduled online class sessions and actively teach college-level students accounting principles, financial analysis, payroll, taxation, and business operations. Develop and deliver lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and learning activities while designing assessments including exams, quizzes, projects, and case studies to evaluate student progress. Utilize case studies, simulations, real-world business applications, accounting software, and technology-based instruction to facilitate critical thinking and problem-solving. Requires a Master's degree in Accounting or related field, demonstrated college-level teaching experience, and proficiency with online learning management systems. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field
- Evidence of at least 15 semester credits in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration coursework
- Relevant related experience to support subject area expertise
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience teaching at the college level
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies for diverse learners
- Experience with online learning management systems/platforms (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas)
- Instructional technology experience
- Experience using accounting software
- Spreadsheet applications experience
- Computerized accounting systems experience
- Experience utilizing AI-enhanced accounting, financial analysis, and educational technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
