Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager

Job Summary
Own and lead the month-end close process across multiple dealership locations, preparing executive financial reporting packages and management reports. Reconcile and review all balance sheet accounts monthly, manage floorplan inventory payments, and prepare lender reporting packages to maintain compliance. Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls while analyzing financial trends to provide recommendations to leadership. Supervise and mentor accounting team members, standardize processes to improve efficiencies, and train dealership employees on best practices. Ensure compliance with manufacturer, lender, and regulatory reporting requirements to support continued company growth and profitability. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime and weekends as needed.

- Ability to build productive working relationships across departments
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience or equivalent
- Experience preparing financial statements and managing month-end close processes
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
- Experience developing and implementing accounting controls
- CPA License
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership experience managing or mentoring team members preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
- Multi-location accounting experience preferred
- Dealership accounting experience is a plus but not required
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred
