Job Summary
Accounting Director leads AP/AR operations across multiple entities and regions, overseeing month-end/year-end close, internal controls, and financial reporting. Partners with Procurement, Sales, Treasury, and Operations to optimize working capital and automate financial processes. Delivers KPIs and dashboards to executives, supports audits, and guides finance transformation initiatives including system upgrades and M&A integration. Requires hands-on leadership, strong GAAP expertise, ERP experience (NetSuite/Oracle/SAP), advanced Excel skills, and bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required; CPA, MBA, or equivalent advanced certification is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a management or director-level role focused on AP/AR.
- Proven leadership experience in high-volume, multi-location, or multi-entity environments.
- Experience in retail, wholesale, or distribution industries is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
