Job Summary
Accounting Coordinator supports the Controller across multiple hospitality properties, performing day-to-day bookkeeping (AP/AR) in QuickBooks and M3, reconciling deposits and bank accounts, assisting with month-end close and journal entries, handling payroll administration and time clock maintenance, and resolving client/guest billing inquiries. The role involves collaboration with Hospitality Operations, Events, and Restaurant management to ensure accurate posting of deposits, payments, and daily revenue, while maintaining organized, confidential financial records and supporting various accounting projects. Proficiency in QuickBooks and hospitality accounting software, strong Excel skills, POS/Event Management familiarity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required. The position is office-based with potential presence at properties and may require weekends based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
- Experience with M3 Accounting Core or other hospitality accounting software is highly preferred
- 2-3 years of accounting/bookkeeping/payroll experience
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Familiarity with POS and Event Management systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends
