Job Summary
Configure clients' software chart of accounts and design journal entries during system migrations to support revenue audits and month-end closings. Establish and review accounting procedures in accordance with gaming regulations while working alongside Revenue Audit teams on cage vault and payroll operations. Provide post-install support services and enable improved daily tasks for client finance departments. Work on-site at client locations throughout North America with approximately 50% travel, including extended hours during installations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and the ability to create and read spreadsheets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or Finance
- Ability to work on-site at client locations throughout North America
- Travel ~ 50%
- Ability to pass stringent background investigations required
- Clean driving record required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to create read and understand spreadsheets
- Ability to work as part of a project team structure
- Ability to work on multiple assignments/projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours on a sporadic basis (during certain days on a client installation) as required
- Ability and willingness to work independently
- Ability to effectively formulate and communicate ideas
- Must have an analytical thought process to see the design needed for software configuration to match the clients' needs
- Disciplined in approach to work towards product completion and timelines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, technical writing skills
Desired Qualifications
- Audit or Accounting experience is a plus, but not required
