Job Summary
Accounting clerk to manage day-to-day accounts receivable/payable, payroll processing, purchasing, invoicing and bank reconciliations; produce reports including profit and loss statements, financial statements and balance sheets; keep management informed with presentations and reports; ensure accuracy and fraud prevention; collaborate with senior personnel and across departments; requires attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office and accounting software.
Required Qualifications
- +2 years of experience as an accounting/bookkeeping clerk
- High school diploma is mandatory
- Accounting coursework from an accredited institution preferred
- Skilled in MS Office and popular accounting software
- Possesses eye for attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Integrity; understanding of maintaining financial records
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures, best practices and terminology
