Job Summary
Accounting Clerk role focused on Accounts Payable and cross-functional accounting support. Responsibilities include processing and coding vendor invoices, performing 3-way matching, managing AP inbox and vendor records (W-9 and 1099), reconciling AP aging and contributing to weekly payment runs (ACH, checks, wires), assisting with month-end close (AP accruals and liability reconciliations), and supporting SOX documentation and audits. The position also involves general accounting tasks across AR/GL, preparation of financial statements and management reports, state tax compliance tasks, and ad hoc analyses. Requires corporate accounting experience, SOX awareness, proficiency with NetSuite (or equivalent ERP), advanced Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. On-site at the Georgetown, TX headquarters with standard business hours and occasional month-end or audit flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years corporate accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Minimum 1 year Accounts Payable in corporate office
- NetSuite or comparable ERP experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation)
- GAAP knowledge
- SOX compliance/document controls
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
