Job Summary
Accounting Clerk will manage day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable using bookkeeping software, reconcile bank statements, handle payroll, prepare invoices, and generate financial reports including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. The role involves data entry, maintaining the integrity of financial records, and presenting information to management. Requires 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, high school diploma, proficiency with MS Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), strong attention to detail, and good communication and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- +2 years of experience as an accounting/bookkeeping clerk
- High school diploma required; accounting coursework from an accredited institution preferred
- Proficient in MS Office and popular accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures, terminology, and best practices
- Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and invoicing
- Ability to produce financial statements such as profit and loss, balance sheets
- Ability to prepare and present reports to management
