Job Summary
Accounting Clerk III supports Travel Office activities for the Naval Undersea Warfare with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Responsibilities include reviewing travel orders for accuracy against JTR and DTS, assigning travel order numbers to non-DTS orders, researching DTS rejections, reconciling Centrally Billed Account invoices to travel orders/vouchers, interviewing travelers for Long-Term Travel, reviewing Long-Term Cost Analysis worksheets for LT TDY costs, preparing LT TDY spreadsheets and travel memos, and general travel-office-related administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma is required
- Knowledge or working familiarity with Navy ERP system preferred
- Security clearance: Favorable T3 background investigation (preferred)
- Active Security Clearance preferred
