Job Summary
Prepare and assist in the month-end accounting close process for multi-location reporting, including journal entries, allocations, basic financial reports, and account reconciliation support. Support accounts receivable processes such as cash applications, customer reference checks, annual credit reviews, and customer setups. Provide assistance with accounts payable functions, including vendor master maintenance for business unit sites. Perform all other tasks as assigned and support year-end closing processes. This role requires a solid foundation in corporate accounting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Located in Homewood, Alabama, this position offers growth within a multi-location environment supporting Truck Bodies & Equipment International.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a heavy focus on Excel
- File Folder/ File Sharing experience
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
