Job Summary
Perform catch-up bookkeeping for multiple small business clients by reconciling bank and credit card accounts, categorizing financial transactions, and resolving discrepancies. Research missing information, maintain accuracy while meeting deadlines, and communicate proactively regarding outstanding items. Utilize accounting technology and workflow tools efficiently to track progress and organize documentation. Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Reports directly to the Client Advisory Manager for Accounting Services.
Required Qualifications
- Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero
- Strong technology aptitude and ability to learn systems quickly
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail while working efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fast thinker and problem solver
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Enjoys analytical problem-solving and identifying patterns
- Comfortable working with incomplete information

- Monday - Friday, in-office position in Fort Lauderdale, FL
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an accounting firm or Client Advisory Services environment
- Experience bringing books current for multiple small business clients
