Accounting & Business Process Manager

Manage day-to-day accounting functions for Canadian and U.S. operations, overseeing month-end and year-end processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, and banking activities. Monitor accounts receivable, payable, inventory, and controls while administering payroll, pension plans, and group benefits. Coordinate insurance renewals and ensure tax filings and regulatory submissions are completed accurately and on time. Act as the primary contact for external accountants, auditors, banks, and government agencies. Identify opportunities to improve business processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, automation, and AI. Support and optimize business systems to streamline workflows across accounting, sales, operations, and warehousing. Work with manufacturing teams to improve inventory accuracy, costing, and reporting, while analyzing financial and operational information to support decision-making.
