Job Summary
Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, reporting, and statutory requirements while reviewing accounting treatments under IFRS, JGAAP, and tax rules. Lead the accounting team to build workflows, improve company-wide operations, and support M&A and restructuring activities. Prepare forecasts, financial plans, and management reports to support business unit strategy formulation, including financial impact analysis of initiatives and budget vs. actual management. Coordinate with business divisions to ensure data timeliness and accuracy, and mentor junior staff within a shared services environment focused on digital transformation.
Required Qualifications
- Basic accounting knowledge (Japan's Nissho Bookkeeping Examination Grade 2 equivalent)
- 3+ years of accounting work experience
- Business-level Japanese
- Basic Office skills (Excel: VLOOKUP, IFS, etc./PowerPoint: charts and tables)
- Interest in DX/AI
- Good communication skills to work with business divisions and other teams
