Job Summary
Billing and Compliance Clerk responsible for reviewing and verifying all documentation related to a customer’s vehicle purchase to ensure accuracy and alignment with Asbury compliance guidelines. Tasks include examining contracts, verifying paperwork/deal jackets, reviewing deals for errors, processing paperwork in a timely manner, reconciling schedules, posting deals to accounting books, issuing checks for lien payoffs, and communicating with the Accounting Manager to resolve issues. The role requires automotive accounting familiarity (CDK preferred), strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team-oriented open-office environment, and completion of pre-employment screenings. "Other duties as assigned" and adherence to deadlines are included.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a busy office environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Automotive accounting or CDK experience preferred
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and comfortable in an open office
