Job Summary
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including preparing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations and recording journal entries. Record invoices and support the order-to-pay cycle while preparing financial statements in line with US GAAP. Support treasury activities, audit support, and responding to auditor requests. Contribute to system implementations and upgrades for accounting and finance ERPs. This hands-on role within Talos' Financial Operations team supports core accounting processes and financial reporting for the global digital asset market.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
- Experience supporting financial reporting and close cycles preferred
- Experience in SaaS, software, or financial services environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a hands-on, proactive approach
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting/finance ERP (SAGE) systems highly desirable
