Job Summary
Maintain accurate financial records by preparing journal entries, invoices, and receipts into the accounting system. Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable while supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial report preparation. Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and budget monitoring to ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Organize financial documents, manage petty cash transactions, and coordinate with departments for timely data submission. Support the senior accounting team in audits and policy implementation. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Pylon) and financial reporting tools
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Greek
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting field
Desired Qualifications
