Job Summary
Accounting & HR Administrator for The Queen’s Cue (Marriott Tribute Portfolio) pre-opening hotel; responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, financial controls, and month-end reporting, onboarding and payroll coordination, maintaining associate records, and ensuring audit-ready financials. Role collaborates with General Manager and Regional Director of Finance to establish the hotel’s financial backbone and provide an organized, professional associate experience in Stratford, Ontario. The position requires precision, accountability, and the ability to support multiple priorities in a pre-opening environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (AP, AR, reconciliations, financial controls)
- Experience working with hotel systems (PMS, accounting platforms)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and multi-priority management skills
- Clear and professional communication
- Experience supporting HR functions (onboarding, payroll, records) is preferred but not essential
