Job Summary
Accounting and Finance Process Transformation Specialist leads cross-functional finance transformation initiatives to optimize and modernize processes across AP/AR, financial reporting, tax, and GL, partnering with Controllership, Shared Services, FP&A, Treasury, IT, and business units. Responsibilities include developing and executing a transformation strategy, championing financial technology adoption (ERP and automation), managing projects to scope, timeline, and budget, training finance teams for adoption, establishing and tracking KPIs, and driving continuous improvement. Requires strong presenter and executive-communication skills, experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), BPM and RPA capabilities, and a track record of delivering cost savings and efficiency across large finance operations. Must hold a Bachelor’s in a related field; MBA or professional certifications (CPA/CMA) preferred; 8-12 years of finance/ accounting experience with at least 5 years in transformation or project management; hybrid work model in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred
- 8-12 years of experience in finance and accounting
- at least 5 years in process improvement, finance transformation, or Finance project management
- experience leading large-scale finance process re-engineering or automation projects
- ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- proven track record of driving technology adoption and process optimization in finance
- strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and financial reporting processes
- expertise in process design, workflow analysis, and performance metrics
- experience with BPM, RPA, and other process optimization technologies
