Job Summary
Senior Manager at CFGI leads accounting engagements for CAC 40, mid-cap, and startup clients, owning projects from start to finish and interacting with executives and auditors. The role involves directing client engagements and operational due diligence for complex transactions (e.g., IPOs, acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises), ensuring IFRS, French GAAP, and U.S. GAAP compliance and regulatory disclosures (AMF filings, ESEF, EU financial disclosure). You’ll act as a subject-matter expert on IFRS standards and European accounting regulations, drive process improvements, and mentor managers and consultants while contributing to recruiting and business development in a client-facing environment. Location is Paris, France.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent (e.g., CPA and/or MBA) preferred
- At least eight years of experience in public accounting or industry accounting/finance
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, French GAAP, and U.S. GAAP (a plus) and public company reporting
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with clients and auditors
- Ability to lead client engagements and deliver solutions; strong analytical and leadership abilities
- Ability to mentor managers and consultants; contribute to recruiting and business development efforts
