Job Summary
Accounting Analyst responsible for accounts payable, financial reporting, data analysis, and month-end close processes, with experience supporting construction-related projects. Responsibilities include processing and verifying purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports; reconciling vendor statements; maintaining AP records; ensuring timely payments; handling vendor communications; developing and maintaining AP policies; supporting month-end and year-end close activities (journal entries and reconciliations); formulating and analyzing financial reports; performing regular bank reconciliations; upholding confidentiality of financial data; and providing responsive support to internal teams and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience across multiple areas of accounting
- Expertise with accounting systems and ERP platforms (e.g., Yardi)
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solid understanding of GAAP
