Accounting Analyst

Job Summary
Prepare journal entries, calculate adjustments, and reconcile accounts and reinsurance files. Assist with cash accounting, billing processes, and month-end close activities while performing balance sheet analysis and resolving reconciling items. Support quarterly and annual regulatory filings, fulfill audit requirements, and maintain internal financial controls. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel skills, and one year of relevant experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and data analysis functions
- Minimum of one (2) years of relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent experience may substitute for minimum educational requirements
- Knowledge of accounting principles, account reconciliations, cash management, billing processes, and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems
