Job Summary
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly accounting reports to the supervisor. Oversee purchase order procedures, complete three-way matching for invoice payments, and order office products while serving as the primary vendor contact. Standardize operational reports to align with WCD, Inc. directives and review staffing agency invoices. Manage extensive data entry projects and interact with all levels of management. Requires two years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work in a distribution center environment with heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years' experience with accounting or economics background
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
- Must be able to work standing up or sitting down for long periods of time
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of a warehouse environment
- Must be able to work in a distribution center environment with a variation of temperatures
- Ability to safely work around/with heavy moving equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, scissor lifts) in a high paced environment
- Strong computer skills required
- Excellent with Excel and all Microsoft automation
- Must be able to interact with all levels of management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Some college courses in Accounting or Economics or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of DC operations
