Accounting Analyst I

Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and regulatory agencies. Analyze general ledger account balances, trends, and activity to identify unusual fluctuations or deviations from GAAP and corporate policies. Process accruals, prepare adjusting entries, and perform account reconciliations to support month-end closings. Assist in designing new systems, procedures, and policies while providing technical support to other departments for special projects. Maintain updated procedures and interact with personnel across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Utilize computer equipment to research and analyze financial data, maintaining strong relationships with bank employees.
