Job Summary
Review and reconcile customer deposits and cash activity, verify batch totals, and compare financial data across systems including QuickBooks and operational platforms. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between systems, analyze trends impacting data accuracy, and maintain the integrity of accounting records. Partner with leadership to improve processes and reporting reliability while supporting ongoing accounting operations and system-related initiatives. This onsite role in Charlotte, NC, requires 3–4 days per week at $25–$30/hour for a contract position with potential contract-to-hire status.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with account reconciliations and financial data validation
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
- Ability to analyze data across multiple systems and identify inconsistencies
- Background in accounting operations, including cash applications, AR, bookkeeping, or related areas
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues through resolution
- Charlotte, NC (Onsite 3–4 days/week)
