Job Summary
Post accrual and prepayment journal entries with documentation, prepare the budget and forecast cycle, and manage treasury discrepancies. Balance sheet reconciliations, validate deferral and amortization schedules, and process monthly commission payments. Review expense submissions for coding, perform ad hoc reporting for stakeholders, and ensure local tax compliances. Maintain organized documentation for balance sheet activity and assist with month-end closing checklists. Master US GAAP experience and execute transactions independently with internal and external networking skills.
Required Qualifications
- United States GAAP experience
- Ability to compute, classify, record, and verify financial data
- Master understanding and execution of transactions independently
- Confidence in executing tasks independently with limited guidance
- Awareness of timing requirements of department duties
- Internal and external networking skills with various stakeholders
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence using professional vocabulary and industry terminology
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra
- Proficiency in excel
- VLOOKUP's
- Pivot tables
- Complicated calculations
- Adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicating by email and using scheduling software
- Basic knowledge of pivot tables

Desired Qualifications
- CA or Masters Degree in Accounting
- At least 2+ years of experience in managing a team
- Advertising media experience
- Exposure to US companies
