Job Summary
Prepare technical accounting advice on Australian Accounting Standards for major infrastructure and public sector clients, covering complex areas like financial instruments, leases, and climate reporting. Contribute to position papers, financial models, and financial statement preparation while supporting finance optimisation engagements for transactions and restructures. Coordinate with integrated teams to deliver high-quality outputs, present findings to diverse stakeholders, and mentor junior team members. Assist in proposal preparation and thought leadership to support business development.
Required Qualifications
- Currently progressing toward attaining CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, audit, or advisory, within professional services environment
- Australian Citizenship
- Ability to obtain a Baseline or NV1 clearance to support work with Federal government clients
- Strong interest and demonstrated capability in interpreting and applying accounting standards
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality outputs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues for diverse audiences
