Accounting Advisor

Accounting Advisor responsibilities include maintaining the accuracy of each student’s account, posting quarterly tuition and fees in SIS for every student, processing the Registration Fee for incoming students, creating and updating monthly payment plans, posting private payments, and managing payment reminders and delinquency notices. The role also involves posting late fees, processing academic holds with IT coordination, monitoring past-due payments and following up with students via phone, text, and email, reviewing delinquent accounts for referral to collection agencies, handling living expenses and credit balances requests, providing timely responses to student questions, handling accounting clearance for externship students and graduates, processing bank deposits, and ensuring compliance with State and Accrediting Agencies regulations. Additional duties may be assigned by the Accounting Manager and/or Campus Director. The ideal candidate has at least two years of administrative experience, at least one year of accounting/collections experience, strong technical/analytical skills, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, and a professional, confidential approach with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
