Job Summary
Part-time adjunct instructor in Accounting at Columbus Technical College. Responsibilities include delivering effective individualized program instruction, preparing lesson plans, evaluating student progress toward goals and outcomes, selecting and obtaining educational materials, ensuring adherence to college and safety requirements in classrooms and labs, and assisting with the design and execution of special events and activities. May teach high school students and may require teaching on or off campus within the service delivery area, with potential travel. Minimum qualifications require a Master’s Degree in Accounting (or a Master’s Degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline in Accounting). Preferred qualifications include CPA certification and college-level teaching experience. Pay rate is commensurate with education and experience; no benefits. This is a part-time exempt role; applications accepted until filled.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in the accounting teaching discipline (Accounting)
- Master’s Degree from an accredited institution with concentration in the teaching discipline (minimum 18 graduate semester hours or 27 graduate quarter hours in Accounting)
