Job Summary
Accountant with German – cash pooling & treasury. Responsible for bank accounting with a focus on international cash pooling structures, intercompany loans, foreign currency transactions, and financial derivatives in collaboration with Treasury and Group Accounting. Independently post and reconcile bank accounts, process special payments, and support monthly/quarterly/annual IFRS/HGB financial statements. Acts as interface for internal/external auditors, collaborates with subledger teams (AP/AR/Fixed Assets/Bank Accounting), and contributes to process improvements and SAP FI / S/4HANA implementations. Requires degree in a finance-related field or comparable qualification, several years of relevant experience, German and English proficiency, and strong Excel/MS Office skills.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification (ACCA, CECCAR, etc)
- Several years of professional experience in bank accounting and/or general ledger accounting
- Very good knowledge of HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus
- Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- Independent, structured working style combined with strong team and communication skills
- Experience with cash pooling structures, treasury-related processes, or bank accounting is an advantage
- Confident handling of ERP systems, ideally SAP FI / S/4HANA
- Very good Excel skills and solid proficiency in MS Office
