Job Summary
Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare monthly journal entries, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Reconcile cash, banking activity, accruals, and inventory accounts while coordinating intercompany transactions between American-Marsh Pumps and QuantumFlo. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and internal/external audits, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to provide accurate financial information and identify process improvements. Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 2+ years of progressive experience required. U.S. GAAP knowledge and strong Excel skills are essential. This role offers exposure to manufacturing finance and multi-entity accounting within a hands-on environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments and business units
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States
