Job Summary
Accountant to join the Finance team in Sydney. You’ll support month-end close, collaborate with Middle Office to report internal trading information, maintain General Ledger, reconcile balance sheet and P&L, manage accounts payable ensuring timely supplier payments, assist with financial audits, and help drive process improvements including automation. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CA preferred, 4+ years of accounting experience), strong Excel/MS Office skills, independence, and good communication/analytical abilities. Hybrid work arrangement: 4 days in the office, with opportunity to grow across international accounting within trading. Passion for accuracy and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- CPA or CA qualified (or progressing), with 4+ years’ accounting experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and solid MS Office capability
- Able to multitask and prioritise to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accurate account preparation
