Job Summary
Conduct daily banking platform reviews, process check requests, accounts payable, and wires, and reconcile vendor inquiries. Process accounts receivable, record journal entries, and manage a portfolio of entities' payables while resolving check and vendor issues. Assist with implementation process enhancements and collaborate on calculating interest on advances. Verify wire instructions, set up employees for ACH reimbursements, and provide annual tax report copies to investors. Identify process improvement opportunities to free up team capacity. Work 40 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years current and related accounts payable, accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Must be able to pass background investigation and drug test screening
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Must successfully complete all required courses, classes, and training provided by MMS
- Must be able to work as part of a team, as well as complete assignments independently
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Display the ability to think critically and suggest solutions for financial problems
- Must have the ability to work in automated computer platforms
- Must display strong ability to work within MS Office packages, specifically MS Excel and Word
- Must prioritize and manage daily workload to ensure successful completion
- Take instructions from supervisors
- Interact with co-workers, supervisors, and vendors in a professional and pleasant manner
- Must have excellent written communication skills
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week to include evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary to meet required deadlines
