Accountant

Accountant at Syneos Health contributes to the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close by preparing detailed journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and maintaining supporting schedules for the general ledger. Ensures financial records comply with US GAAP and local GAAP as applicable, and adheres to Sarbanes-Oxley Internal Controls requirements. Interfaces with management to resolve discrepancies, gathers information for complex issues, and collaborates with international accounting and other departments. Performs audit deliverables, invoicing tasks, accounts receivable/revenue management activities, and supports cross-functional teams. Requires a BS/BA in Accounting/Finance, 4–5 years of experience in an internationally oriented organization, ERP/Oracle proficiency, strong documentation and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Provisions for possible equivalent experience and consideration of professional qualifications are noted.
