Job Summary
Process invoices and vouchers within five business days, balance accounts weekly or monthly, and post journal entries to internal ledgers. Oversee complex budget accounts, assist with financial forecasting, and execute budget appropriation and transfer documents. Manage all fiscal grant operations, including cost controls and spending projections, while ensuring strict adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. Compile and submit bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, reconciling all account balances by the 15th of each month. Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, and verification of transmittal reports from external agencies. Represent the Fiscal Department in meetings with program staff or subgrantees and step in independently during the Fiscal Officer's absence. Apply established government accounting principles and utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace to maintain accurate financial data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- A minimum of five years' related work experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license and insured vehicle
