Job Summary
Accountant I will perform accounting close duties, record journal entries, conduct financial analysis and reconciliations, and assist in month-end close and related reporting. Responsibilities include analyzing variances, researching items, and supporting accounting and reporting projects. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (or an Associate’s with 2 years of experience, or a High School diploma/GED with extensive accounting experience). Must work in an office setting with potential mine/outdoor environment exposure and comply with safety protocols; relocation may be provided. Salary range $52,000–$72,000, with full benefits and relocation housing assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related area and two years professional accounting experience
- High School diploma or GED with four years professional accounting experience including two years in accounting/finance-related training or on-the-job training
