Job Summary
Accountant role to join SRAM LLC's finance team in Chicago. Take ownership of Month End, Quarter End, and Year End close processes for European entities, prepare and post GL entries, manage government returns, and support audit activities including year-end file preparation and statutory reports. Responsible for reconciling balance sheets and P&L, managing accruals/prepayments, and ensuring smooth day-to-day finance operations (employee expenses, cash management, monthly payroll). Will identify continuous improvements in finance processes and provide training and ad-hoc analysis as needed. Tools/skills include SAP and MS Office; requires strong commercial acumen and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong general ledger accounting
- SAP experience
- Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail; “audit ready” mindset
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
