Job Summary
Sr. Accountant at Boise Cascade responsible for general accounting and financial analysis including journal entries, ledger reconciliation, and financial statements; provide budgeting/forecasting support, conduct financial analyses and modeling to assess risk and opportunities; may handle accounts receivable/payable, payroll, credit and collections, and sales rebates; ensure compliance with accounting policies including ERISA/SEC; maintain customer relationships and support process improvements with limited travel; requires college degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years (senior level typically 5-7 years) with proficiency in SEC/GAAP/ERISA/PeopleSoft, and strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.
