Job Summary
Established New Orleans employer seeks an Accountant/Sr Accountant to handle all aspects of the accounting department including preparing financial reports, account reconciliations, journal entries, state and federal tax, and audit support. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business and at least 3 years of accounting experience, GAAP proficiency, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Oracle Cloud; non-profit sector experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or business
- Minimum three (3) years' professional accounting experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Proficient computer skills – MS Excel a must, Oracle Cloud a plus
- Non-profit industry experience a plus
