Job Summary
Digital Accountant with responsibility for end-to-end AP and GL processes in a fast-growing SaaS company. Own vendor management, AP/P2P processing, payment proposals, foreign currency payments, and bank reconciliations. Maintain VAT compliance across European and UK entities, assist in year-end financial statements, and support audit readiness. Lead data-heavy, AI-driven accounting initiatives, collaborating with Finance and Engineering to implement new financial tools. Must leverage ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, or Dynamics) and tools like Yokoy, Concur, or Expensify. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and an international mindset with excellent English (German a plus). Remote-friendly role with a collective salary framework and opportunities for higher compensation based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (AP, VAT, SaaS/international environment preferred)
- Austrian Bilanzbuchhalter qualification strongly preferred (or active willingness to obtain)
- Hands-on experience with AP, P2P, and business expense tools (Yokoy, Concur, Expensify)
- Proficient in NetSuite and advanced Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong understanding of VAT regulations and cross-border tax considerations
- Excellent English communication and writing skills; German is a plus
- ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, or Dynamics)
- Ability to lead data-heavy, AI-driven accounting projects
- Knowledge of per diem and reimbursement regulations across multiple countries
