Job Summary
Accountant II role performing advanced professional accounting duties for multiple entities, including detailed recordkeeping, complex journal entries, allocations, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include preparing cash management reports and financial statements, coordinating year-end audits, and supporting process improvements. Requires strong analytical/problem-solving abilities, knowledge of regulatory issues, and the ability to deliver management-focused recommendations. Must have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and at least 3 years of accounting experience; advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- experience with financial analysis, account reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger accounting
- advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
- knowledge of accounting software systems and financial reporting tools
- ability to communicate professionally and accurately
