Job Summary
SpaceX AI is seeking an Accountant, Revenue to build the revenue accounting function from the ground up. Responsibilities include calculating, analyzing, and reporting revenue for the AI platform and usage-based billing (Grok API), preparing journal entries and reconciliations for monthly/quarterly reporting, documenting new product initiatives to ensure proper accounting under US GAAP, driving process improvements in revenue systems, collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Revenue Operations, Sales, and Legal, ensuring accuracy of financial statements, and supporting audits and ad hoc analyses. Required: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of accounting experience; preferred CPA and SaaS/tech revenue experience; strong Excel and BI/analytics skills; experience with ERP/billing systems (Oracle, HubSpot, Stripe Billing); US GAAP knowledge; willingness to work long hours as needed; on-site in Hawthorne, CA.
