Job Summary
Manages financial records, prepares and analyzes financial statements, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Essential functions include payroll processing and resolving payroll discrepancies, processing Payroll Costing Allocations and Adjustments, ensuring accurate and timely closeout of awards, and maintaining compliance with federal/state/internal regulations to avoid audit findings. Collaborates with the Research Accounting department, Sponsored Projects, and internal/external auditors. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and at least one year of accounting experience; grant accounting experience preferred.
