Job Summary
Accountant / Bookkeeper role for a flooring retail and home improvement business, performing bookkeeping, AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close using QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop. Emphasis on accurate financial records, inventory-related accounting, and financial reporting to support leadership with actionable insights. Remote position suitable for candidates in LATAM; responsibilities include maintaining accounting records, ensuring data reliability, communicating with internal teams, and optimizing workflows in an inventory-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong QuickBooks experience, either Online, Desktop, or both
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Experience performing reconciliations and supporting month-end close
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Excellent organizational and communication skills in a remote work setting
