Job Summary
Manage assigned caseloads with high-level accuracy and attention to detail while coordinating resources and working independently to prioritize workload demands. Prepare and review financial reports in compliance with Canadian Public sector accounting and auditing standards using advanced Excel, Word, and Access skills. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to established policies and procedures throughout the role. A valid Class 5 driver's license is required. This temporary position supports the Treasury Reporting department at Saskatchewan Health Authority in Saskatoon.
Required Qualifications
- Business Administration/Commerce majoring in Accounting
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Advanced - Accounting skills
- Advanced - Verbal communication skills
- Advanced - Written Communication Skills
- Advance computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access)
- Ability to coordinate resources
- Leads innovation, change and is committed to continuous improvement
- Knowledge of the Canadain Public sector accounting/auditing standards
- Ability to work independently to plan and prioritize workload demands
- High level accuracy/attention to detail required in all aspects of this position
Desired Qualifications
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CPA, or CMA) is preferred
