Job Summary
Accountant for Construction PCL Inc. in Montréal contributes to general accounting and administrative functions for large projects, completes and reviews financial transactions, provides ad hoc reports and analysis to project teams, assembles information for internal/external financial reporting, prepares deposits and reconciliations, identifies risks and supports mitigation strategies, communicates compliance and project risks to accounting management, assembles client billings packages per contract terms to ensure timely payment, reviews contracts and interprets documentation for accounting-related items, and supervises/mentors entry-level accounting staff.
Required Qualifications
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related discipline.
- Active pursuit of accounting designation considered an asset.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience in construction or a related industry preferred.
