Job Summary
Mid-level Accountant sought to join a stable, family-owned private enterprise in downtown Vancouver. You will contribute to month-end financial statements, ledgers, and journals, manage full-cycle accounting (AP/AR, cash receipts), perform bank reconciliations and GST payments, analyze budgets for business insights, and collaborate with the Controller and other departments. The role emphasizes mentorship toward CPA designation, offers CPA-support and opportunities for professional development, and is located in a prime downtown Vancouver setting with competitive rewards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Currently enrolled in CPA program (highly preferred)
- Proven experience in a professional accounting role
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Experience with New Views is a significant asset
- High attention to detail
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
