Job Summary
Accountant role responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with Austrian GAAP (UGB) for SWARCO ITS SERVICES GMBH, coordinating intercompany transactions and group cost allocations, planning budgets and forecasts, supporting day-to-day accounting and tax-related issues, serving as a contact for group subsidiaries on financial reporting, and contributing to internal transformation projects. Requires a completed degree in Business Administration or similar commercial education with substantial accounting experience, IFRS knowledge, SAP FI familiarity, advanced Excel skills, German and English proficiency, and the ability to work in international teams and drive process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Completed degree in Business Administration (university or university of applied sciences) or a commercial education (e.g., HAK/HBLA)
- ideally with a certified accountant qualification (Bilanzbuchhalterprüfung)
- Solid, several years of professional experience in accounting or controlling
- experience in investment valuation and knowledge of IFRS
- Extensive experience with accounting systems; SAP FI knowledge is an advantage
- Experience with intercompany accounting and charge allocations
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent written and spoken German and good English language skills
- Enjoy working in international teams and contributing to development and optimization of processes, systems, and standards
- Independent, solution-oriented way of working
- Willingness to take ownership and actively drive change and improvements
