Job Summary
Accountant- L2C responsible for end-to-end project accounting, billing and credit collections with a strong emphasis on automation and AI-enabled improvements. Key duties include creating project numbers, maintaining project master data, processing project entry sheets, designing automated workflows using Power Automate, leveraging Power BI for data modelling and visualisation, integrating systems via APIs/connectors, performing monthly close and revenue recognition reconciliations, managing credit processes including collections, disputes, and risk assessments, and supporting internal controls and audits. The role requires extensive experience (8+ years) in project accounting and billing, a finance degree (B.Com/M.Com/MBA), strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, ERP experience (JD Edwards or similar), excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to drive process improvements and automation across a global finance environment.

- B.com, M.com, MBA (Finance)
- GAAP, IFRS knowledge
- JD Edwards or other ERP experience
- Strong analytical skills
- MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/PPT)
- Power Platform experience (Power Automate, Power BI)
- Experience with APIs and connectors
- Experience in AI-based solutions and automation
- Ability to perform month-end close and internal controls checks
- Experience with VAT and invoicing checks
- Experience with various invoice types (Milestone, T&M, etc.)
- UAT participation and tool-change experience
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask during month ends/quarter ends
- Team player and stakeholder collaboration
- Experience in shared service centers or global financial processes
- FX module and hedge documentation knowledge

- Experience with forecasting and dashboards for collections and cash flow
- Experience in consolidation or shared service center environments
- Attention to detail and ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
